CARIDINA / CRS
Crystal red
Not a Neocaridina. Crystal red is Caridina cantonensis: red and white bands, graded S, SS, SSS by how much white. They want soft, acidic water, roughly pH 6 to 6.5 and GH 4 to 6, and cooler than a cherry likes, which usually means remineralized RO rather than tap. They are exempt from the dollar pledge because they breed slowly.
Caridina, not Neocaridina: different water, exempt from the $1 pledge.
