Muhammad had a spare nano tank hooked to his "inter-aquarium travel system". The plan was a puffer fish. He asked the internet instead.
"My plan is to breed them and sell them for a ridiculously low price, so everyone else that is overcharging will be forced to sell it at a lower price."
Two weeks away on a trip, then an update: zero deaths, seven babies. "I don't think a small colony of 27 cherry shrimps will be able to help me crash the red cherry shrimp market. I need help." That video did numbers.
"I was getting pest control done in my house and I made sure the spray does not get near my tanks. I completely forgot about my air pump because it sits lower than my tanks, so I sprayed directly onto the air pump. It injected the air right into my tank, which caused three of my shrimps to die."
Within days, strangers were buying shrimp to give away. A guy who "thought it was just a joke. And then I went to Petco." A breeder called OVR Exotics. A student in the UK.
"Pet Supermarket is selling the lowest grade of red cherry shrimps for five dollars. That's a ripoff. They should cost at most 75 cents."
hygger sent 24 high-grade shrimp — highlighter yellow, blue dream, orange. He put them all in one water system. "Once they start breeding with each other they lose their colors and they revert back to this color that is a wild type." So every color needs its own tank.
He needed tanks to separate the colors. A follower DMed: a 10-gallon tank, paid in shrimp. "It came with, he gave me a free air pump with it and the free queen ant. It's alive."
of them are breeders on the chart. Columns are colors; rows are people, each one holding the pledge: never more than a dollar a shrimp. Culls free. Bring a cup.
