Clear, brown, or patchy throwbacks from any colour line. They are the same shrimp, they breed the same, they eat the same algae; they just did not get the colour. Nearly always free. If you have never kept shrimp, this is the way to start.

Aquarium shops charge $5 to $8 for the same shrimp.
